CCI Clean 22 Hyper Velocity 22LR 31 Grain Round Nose – 500 Round Case

CCI Clean 22 Hyper Velocity pairs a light 31-grain lead round nose with a polymer coating. CCI lists 1,550 fps and 165 ft-lb at the muzzle, so it is hyper velocity and supersonic. The coating helps cut lead fouling. This listing is a 500-round case of 10 boxes of 50. It suits plinkers and steel shooters who want a fast load with less lead buildup.

Best Uses

Use CCI Clean 22 Hyper Velocity for fast plinking, steel and reactive targets. The light bullet shoots flatter at normal rimfire range, and the high speed gives semi-autos plenty of push to cycle. The coating keeps actions cleaner through long sessions. Zero with this load, since a 31-grain bullet prints away from 40-grain ammo. Light bullets drift more in wind, so keep that in mind past 50 yards. A 500-round case keeps you on one lot. It is a round nose, so use a hollow point for hunting.

FAQ

How fast is CCI Clean 22 Hyper Velocity?
It is listed at 1,550 fps with a 31-grain bullet and 165 ft-lb of energy. That is faster than standard high-velocity .22 LR.

Is a light 22LR bullet less accurate?
Not always, but light bullets drift more in wind and some barrels group them better than others. Test in your rifle.

Is hyper velocity 22LR safe in all guns?
It is a standard .22 LR load, not a +P round. Any sound gun chambered in .22 Long Rifle can fire it.

Can you buy 22 ammo at 18?
Federal law lets licensed dealers sell rifle ammo to buyers 18 and up, but handgun ammo only to buyers 21 and up. Since .22 LR fits both rifles and pistols, many dealers and some states use the 21 rule. Check your state before you order.
