Best Uses

Use this Winchester 22 WMR 25 grain load on small varmints and pests, especially where lead is restricted. The light polymer tip is built to open fast on small animals. Because the bullet is so light, zero your rifle with it and check drop and wind drift at your usual ranges. A 50-round box is enough to zero and hunt. Keep it apart from lead loads so you do not mix them in restricted areas. Check your state rules on lead-free requirements.

FAQ

Is Winchester 25 grain 22 WMR lead free?
Yes. The bullet is listed as lead free. Confirm with your local rules if you hunt where lead-free ammo is required.

Is 25 grain 22 WMR too light?
It is light, but it is made for small varmints. Light bullets drift more in wind, so keep shots within your tested range.

Where is lead-free ammo required?
Rules vary. Some states and certain public or refuge lands require lead-free ammo for hunting. Check the rules for where you hunt.

Can you shoot 22LR in a 22 WMR gun?
No, not safely in a standard 22 WMR chamber. The .22 LR case is smaller and can split. Use only the ammo marked on your barrel, unless your revolver has a separate .22 LR cylinder.

21+ only. Adult signature required on delivery. Check your state and local laws before ordering.
