Best Uses

This much ammo is meant for heavy use: 4-H and youth days, league nights, steel practice and backyard plinking. The standard bullet weight means little or no change in zero for most rifles. At 100 rounds per box, fewer boxes clutter the range bag. Keep the case off a concrete floor and away from heat. The round nose is a target bullet, so use the Super X hollow point for small game. Buying by the case keeps you on one lot, so point of impact stays steady.

FAQ

Why buy 22LR in 100-round boxes?
Larger boxes mean fewer to carry and open. They are handy for group range days where you fill many magazines at once, and they still split easily between trips.

Is steel case 22LR ok?
Brass-washed steel rimfire cases work in most guns. Rimfire is not reloaded, so the case material mostly affects cost.

Is Winchester Super X 22LR good for semi-autos?
Most will run it. At a rated 1,300 fps the load has enough push for typical blowback actions, but try a few magazines in your own rifle or pistol.

Can you buy 22 ammo at 18?
Federal law lets licensed dealers sell rifle ammo to buyers 18 and up, but handgun ammo only to buyers 21 and up. Since .22 LR fits both rifles and pistols, many dealers and some states use the 21 rule. Check your state before you order.

21+ only. Adult signature required on delivery. Check your state and local laws before ordering.
